The New Rage

It was an exam eve. I went to a stationary shop to meet my small exam requirements -pens. The shop was small n owned by a middle class man.It was crowded,I asked him politely  to show me his pen collections. He was busy satisfying other customers' needs.I waited patiently. After about five minutes, he showed me some. I tried to figure out how the pen works .He  BARKED :"You do not have to waste the ink. If you don't want this one , leave it." I was terrified. This is certainly not the pragmatic way to treat a customer.

Period.
okay, okay I am getting into behaviour mechanisms or so; this tym  i am  hitting the  enigma of  today's commerce. This generation's shopping is all about malls, marts and online meagastores. Fondly addressing them as NGC(New Gen commerce).NGC has struck a chord with me.They do have the requisite dexterity to make shopping a delightful experience for a non shopping lover like me.The most intriguing part of NGC is they give u enormous space to pick your products, guage ur savings, time to understand if this particular product suffice ur agenda,go through all the technical specifications or any manufacturing details   .U do not have to suffocate under the penetrating gaze of a shopkeeper while going on in an expedition with ur product .You can explore apparels taking ur own time, no body is going is to make "crying face" if you come up with an empty cart.Unlike our sks(shopkeepers),NGC don't make u feel like a criminal or bastard if u r out on a window shopping.U dont have to confront any hawk or eagle eyes. Here, you are master of your own choice.u purchase goods bcoz u really want to n not under any incessant request to view a new product or any such compulsion.

Am not really against conventional SKs or so.No hard feelings for them. All I want is , as scriptures say" Consumers shud always be the king".If it not so, there is something wrong in the working strata.Business dealing with public has no room for real emotions, it is purely based on superficial business etiquette .I didn't go into who is selling better or so.Because sometimes it is all about the  civility and social grace that matters the most.
